Custom Outdoor Signage for Knights Electrical Switchgear Ltd

At Creative Solutions, we recently had the pleasure of working with Knights Electrical Switchgear Ltd on a striking large-scale outdoor signage project at their premises in Donyatt.

This collaborative effort resulted in a stunning, bespoke installation that proudly showcases their brand identity and enhances the visual appeal of their business location.

Bespoke Lettering Signs

The focal point of the design is the KESG logo, featuring their iconic castle graphic and the accompanying strapline. To bring this to life, the castle element was precision-cut from 5mm gloss red acrylic, which was securely bonded directly to the cladding of their unit.

For Knights Electrical Switchgear Ltd, the lettering was crafted from high-quality 5mm metallic silver acrylic. Mounted using 21mm stand-off snapfix locators, this technique created a striking 3D effect that elevates the design and ensures maximum visibility. The stand-off mounting not only adds depth but also creates dynamic shadows, making the sign more eye-catching throughout the day as natural light changes.

Each letter must be precision-cut to exact specifications and installed with pinpoint accuracy, particularly when working with uneven surfaces like corrugated cladding. The corrugated nature of the cladding added an extra layer of complexity, as each letter had to align perfectly with an outward-facing surface to maintain even spacing and a flawless finish.
