Lorry Cab Wrap for Bridport Building Supplies

THE CLIENT

Bridport Building Supplies is a locally-owned independent timber and builders merchants. The company began trading in January 2012 having been established in October 2011 by Fred Etherington. Fred had previously spent nearly three decades working for the National and Regional Builders Merchants, and, from the experience and knowledge gained from his time there, decided to set up his own firm.

THE BRIEF

Bridport Building Supplies were looking to give the cabin of their company lorry a makeover with some smart new vehicle graphics. They contacted the team here at Creative Solutions to see what we could do. 

After liaising with the client, it was agreed that the most efficient and economical vehicle graphics option would be a series of vinyl wraps to cover each section of the lorry’s cabin. The front, back, sides and roof of the cab were effectively a blank canvas for us to completely transform into a professional, eye-catching mobile advertising unit.

THE SOLUTION

The first task for our production team was to remove the lorry cab’s existing white vinyl. Once this stage of the process was complete, we got to work applying the vehicle wrap to the DAF LF lorry cab. The vinyl would cover the front, sides, back and roof of the cab—and would include the new Bridport Building Supplies logo and company name. The house-themed logo would appear on both sides of the cab, while the block capital company name would be printed onto the front panel below the windscreen.

The black vinyl wrap was finished with a premium gloss for a stunning final aesthetic. With the vibrant bright yellow colour scheme of the company name and new logo, against the gloss black substrate, the Bridport Building Supplies lorry has been given a new lease of life. The final look of the cab is high-impact, professional, and a great representation of the brand. The client was delighted with the results.
