We recently had the pleasure of working with Paynes International Transport Ltd to refresh the branding on their fleet, starting with their DAF lorry. Paynes approached us with a request for a digital redesign of their existing logo, bringing it to life with a bold, contemporary look for their vehicle graphics.

At Creative Solutions, we recently had the pleasure of working with Paynes International Transport Ltd to refresh the branding on their fleet, starting with their DAF lorry.

Paynes approached us with a request for a digital redesign of their existing logo, bringing it to life with a bold, contemporary look for their vehicle graphics. The goal was to create eye-catching, durable branding that reflects the professionalism and heritage of their business.

Client Collaboration & Brief 

When our client from Paynes International Transport Ltd visited us at our Axminster unit, they provided imagery of their current lorry mud guards for inspiration. This was a fantastic reference, allowing us to capture the essence of their existing branding while bringing a modern edge to the design.

Their primary request was for the company name, "PAYNES," to feature prominently in red, with a silver shadow to add depth and visibility. They also requested that the name appear in an arc, echoing the classic style of their existing logo but with an updated twist.

After the initial discussion, our in-house graphic design team took the reins on the project. Drawing from Paynes’ inspiration and our experience in vehicle graphics. The final proof (see below) showcases the “PAYNES” name in a vibrant red with a subtle yet effective silver shadow, creating a striking contrast. This design was scaled to fit the double back doors of the lorry perfectly, ensuring visibility and impact on the road.
