Otter Garden Centres have been a family run business since their inception in 1964. They pride themselves on a down-to-earth experience based on great products, helpful advice and finding inspiration to create stunning living environments at home.

The Otter Garden Centre family has blossomed to encompass seven beloved garden centres across the beautiful landscapes of the South West and surrounding areas that offer a full range of gardening goods, home decor and accessories, gifts, clothes and more.

THE BRIEF

Reclaimed Wood POS Displays

Having recently revamped the clothing store area at their Plymouth location, the final touch was to reinstall the POS displays and wayfinding for customers to navigate the store.

To keep with the aesthetic of the area, the team managed to get their hands on several pieces of wood planking that matched the store decor and wanted to have these printed with the brands of the clothing they stock as well as highly visible wayfinding displays for the changing rooms, footwear and handbags.

The team were able to send over high-resolution digital artwork of the clothing brand logos as well as the colour codes for what they wanted to achieve on the wooden panels.

THE SOLUTION

Printing Onto Wood

Our in-house printers are incredible at directly printing onto a huge range of substrates and media. From stainless steel and other metals, foam board, correx, fabric, and wood!

These state-of-the-art printers are run as standard at 2880dpi for high-definition vibrant colour printing for the best signage and display creations. Your artwork will first be handled by our expert Graphic Designers who will lay up your artwork, and then will be overseen and quality checked by our production and installation team.

As the wood panels were supplied by Otter Garden Centres, we only needed to wait for their arrival to be able to measure them up and plot the artwork onto them for best results. However, if you are looking for wood, we can source it for you, making sure it is FSC-approved and great quality for any signage project you have in mind.
