Van Graphics for RSL Windows and Conservatories
THE CLIENT
RSL Windows and Conservatories are based in Devon and Dorset; a family run business with a wealth of experience in the industry. As knowledgeable and highly-trained fabricators and installers, they expertly manufacture their own windows, doors and conservatories—making sure that their customers’ needs are met at every juncture.
While the RSL team is small, each member of staff brings an abundance of enthusiasm and professionalism to the company.
THE BRIEF
RSL Windows and Conservatories contacted Creative Solutions about creating cut-vinyl vehicle graphics for their company Renault van. Small to medium-sized businesses like RSL rely on vehicle graphics as a source of mobile advertising. While the van travels between jobs, it’s fundamental that potential customers can see RSL’s company information and logo—a strong brand identity helps drive business and attract new clients.
THE SOLUTION
The Creative Solutions studio was required to redraw RSL’s logo from a JPEG file received from the client and convert it to a production-ready vector file. We supplied this file to the customer for the use in any potential future projects. If ever RSL Windows and Conservatories require further vehicle graphics or company branding, the design process is made instantly more efficient. A PDF vector can be used in the production of any signage the client may desire. Importantly, vector files are scalable while the quality of the image does not diminish—no matter how much it is expanded.
We supplied the client with both black and cherry red cut-vinyl vehicle graphics, with a gloss laminate finish—cherry red for the eye-catching RSL logo and black for the additional information and contact details. The graphics were applied to both side panels, the rear doors, and the front panel above the main windshield.
While the RSL logo is stylish, prominent and easily-identifiable, a simple Times New Roman font was used for the remainder of the text. This looks very effective and the information can be quickly absorbed by any potential customer.
Also provided, were a set of three Fensa Approved gloss laminated vinyl stickers, which we adhered to the two front cabin doors and the rear-right back door.
