Vehicle Graphics & Van Branding for Bridport Town Council

Designing vehicle graphics and van branding for Bridport Town Council required a thoughtful approach that reflected the council's identity, values, and the community it serves.

Looking for a rear end half-wrap on their Vauxhall Vivaro, the team wanted a bold and colourful design that would seamlessly blend into the white van body and display the councils logo with pride.

Bridport Town Council got in touch with an array of needs spanning vehicle graphics and signage, but their current logo was not up to scratch to be able to produce the quality of print they required. Our team offered to recreate and tidy the council's logo ahead of any larger print project as the image had been chopped, changed and lost its quality over time. A rewarding mid-point was reached where we were able to take the original heraldic image and simplify this with a new, modern sigil.

The first of many future projects was to update the council's vehicle fleet, starting with their Vauxhall Vivaro.

Vehicle Graphics & Wrapping

Upon receiving the design brief, our in-house Graphic Designers diligently worked to transform the council's vision into reality for their Vauxhall Vivaro. Several options were crafted to showcase how this concept would manifest on white van, ensuring each design aligned seamlessly with their preferences to showcase their bold artwork and local events (see below).

The van graphic wrap would neatly finish behind the driver and passenger side doors, encasing the back of the vehicle with a bright design, featuring Briport's clock tower and advertising the towns market days. Cut vinyl logo pieces and text were then applied to each door and along the front bumper trim to tie the design elements together.

Designing vehicle graphics for a town council involves creating visually appealing and informative designs that reflect the council's identity and communicates key messages to the community. The primary message Bridport Town Council wanted to convey was the rich activity the town offers including community events, communicating council services, as well as reinforcing the council's presence in the community.

Their workhorse fleet of white vans needed to display this messaging clearly after their logo redesign, so it was important the first of the vehicles really met the mark. The Vauxhall Vivaro allowed for a great surface area for big design pieces which can easily be tailored in the future to smaller hatchback and saloon vehicles, or larger works vans and trucks.
