Bespoke Exhibition Stand for Xylem

Xylem is a leading water technology company committed to "solving water" by creating innovative and smart technology solutions to meet the world's water, wastewater and energy needs.

THE BRIEF

Creative Solutions were briefed with creating a bespoke exhibition stand that could be used at various events across the UK. Xylem provided sketches as part of the brief and specified that the stand needed to be easily transported once broken down. The key requirements were a seamless graphic back wall, cupboards with a worktop and variou plinths on which they could stand pumps on. 

OUR SOLUTION

For the back wall graphics, we used 5mm foamed panels with full colour digital print and a shell clad clip system. The cupboards had to be no deeper than 400mm and no taller than 1000mm with no hands, and easily transportable. Due to the bespoke nature of them, we built the cupboards ourselves with the flatbed router and joinery skills.

The plinths and display counter was constructed from 18mm MDF which was cut to size on our flatbed router, screwed and glued together. Once all the filling and sanding was finished we then wrapped the units in graphics as per the client's specifications, using a high tac vinyl with full colour digital print.

The bespoke stainless steel stands had to match existing stands that the client already had, these we're produced from 3mm high quality stainless steel, they were a specific shape and size which we water jet cut and fabricated to match the existing stands.

Once the exhibition stand was finished and approved we then installed the stand on site at the Alexandra Palace ready for use, and took the stand down at the end of the exhibition. This took the pressure away from the client and allowed them to focus on the exhibition itself.

Xylem were very pleased and impressed with the whole job from initial brief to manufacture, to installation and removal.
