The Brief

When Mosterton Pre-School approached us, they were in need of a new gate sign that not only displayed their details clearly but also reinforced their brand identity. We took on the challenge, ensuring the finished result was both professional and durable, perfectly suited for the outdoor environment.

Vectorising the Pre-School Logo

One of the key steps in this project involved reworking the school’s logo. The original logo provided was of insufficient quality for high-resolution printing, which could have resulted in a blurry or pixelated finish.

To address this, our team meticulously vectorised the logo. By transforming it into a vector format, the logo can now be scaled up or down without any loss of quality.

This means Mosterton Pre-School can use their newly refined logo for future projects—whether it’s small-scale items like business cards or large-scale signage—ensuring exceptional clarity every time.

Aluminium Composite Material (ACM)

For the gate sign itself, we chose Aluminium Composite Material (ACM). This material is a popular choice for outdoor signage due to its durability, weather resistance, and lightweight nature. ACM comprises two thin sheets of aluminium sandwiching a polyethylene core, giving it excellent rigidity and making it ideal for withstanding the elements.

To complete the sign, we applied a super high-tack external grade printed face. This ensures the vibrant colours and crisp details of the design remain intact, even when exposed to varying weather conditions. The result is a sign that not only looks great but is built to last.
