A New Fascia for Footeprints' Storefront & Custom Window Graphics

Footeprints in Bridport, a well-established stationery and print shop, wanted to extend their external signage to highlight their dedicated Photo Shop by Fujifilm. The goal was to create a fascia sign that complemented their existing branding while giving the Photo Shop a distinct identity.

This project began in January 2024 and involved multiple stages, reflecting our commitment to precision, collaboration, and client satisfaction.

A Unified but Unique Design

Footeprints provided detailed measurements and artwork, enabling us to ensure the new fascia sign would seamlessly integrate with the existing storefront. The design featured a dark wood panel effect, echoing the traditional feel of the main sign while offering a contemporary touch for the Photo Shop.

The ACM (Aluminium Composite Material) panel was fully wrapped in a custom dark wood-effect vinyl print. The text elements were crafted using cut vinyl, carefully applied to ensure clean lines and perfect positioning. To add depth and sophistication, the word "PHOTO" was brought to life with stand-off letters, mounted securely with stand-off locators for a striking 3D effect.

An important aspect of this project was collaboration—not only with Footeprints but also with Fujifilm. As an authorised retailer, Footeprints needed to ensure Fujifilm's branding guidelines were met. We worked closely with the client to get approval from Fujifilm, showcasing our flexibility and dedication to aligning with both client and brand standards.

Custom Printed Window Graphics for Added Visibility

In addition to the new fascia sign, we also created and installed custom printed window graphics in the three windows beneath the fascia. These graphics were designed to showcase Footeprints' photo services, including canvas prints, photo gifts, cameras, and film.

The window graphics were printed on high-quality vinyl and applied seamlessly to the windows, creating an eye-catching display that aligns with the overall branding. The vibrant colours and clear messaging attract customers walking by, while the printed graphics enhance the storefront's appeal and visibility.

These window graphics are not just decorative; they serve a functional purpose by promoting the Photo Shop’s range of services in a way that is both informative and visually appealing. The use of large-format printing ensures that the graphics are visible from a distance, drawing potential customers into the store.

The Final Result

The result is a beautifully executed fascia sign and set of window graphics that stand out on Bridport’s bustling streets while staying true to both Footeprints’ and Fujifilm’s branding. The dark wood-effect finish on the fascia and modern lettering style give the Photo Shop a unique character, while the printed window graphics create additional impact and communicate key services directly to customers.
