Hoarding Boards for Cavanna Homes
THE CLIENT
Cavanna Homes started as a family-run construction company back in the early 1920s. After nearly a century, Cavanna has evolved into the South West's largest independent house building firm. Despite their growth, however, the company’s ethos remains consistent: to build elegant, high-quality properties that will last generations.
THE BRIEF
Long-term clients Cavanna Homes got in touch with the team here at Creative Solutions looking for a series of branded hoarding panels for their development site at Hill Head Farm in Bude, Cornwall.
We’ve been fortunate enough to have forged numerous working relationships with large South West-based construction firms like Cavanna. For these clients, we make the entire process simple as we are able to take on all aspects of their graphic design requirements. Whether it’s a complete rebranding, vehicle graphics, wayfinding signage, or, indeed, hoarding panels, Creative Solutions will never fail to deliver a first-rate product.
Our custom-printed hoarding panels are a great product for building and development sites such as this. Because we have the capacity to print all manner of graphics, logos and artwork onto silver-backed hoarding material in razor-sharp high-definition, our clients receive a premium signage option for a relatively low cost. From print and production, to the build and installation of the hoarding boards, we can offer the whole service.
Our aluminium composite material (ACM) boards are of the finest quality. They are both hardy and resolute—perfect for outdoor conditions—and are printed in super high-definition, so your branding and company graphics won’t fail to make an impression with the public.
For Cavanna Homes, it was vital for the hoarding boards to reflect their reputation as a high-quality house builder. Equally, they needed to be robust enough to last the duration of a full-scale construction project.
THE SOLUTION
For the client, the Creative studio completed all aspects of the brief—from start to finish. This included the design, printing, build and installation of the hoarding boards at their Hill Head Farm development site in Bude, Cornwall.
During an initial site visit, we were able to establish the size and dimensions of the required hoarding boards. The design and graphics printed on the boards would follow the firm’s strict brands guidelines and would be created in conjunction with the client’s marketing department. The artwork would feature Cavanna’s familiar two-tone blue colour scheme and their iconic seahorse motif.
The wooden painted hoarding included posts, rails and 18mm plywood panels—onto which was installed the 3mm ACM hoarding board with full-colour self-adhesive print and matte laminate. Meanwhile, matte and gloss cut vinyl text was applied to the face of the ACM boards.
The hoarding’s headers and kickers were made from prepared timber and painted in undercoat and gloss in the company’s dark blue from their brand guidelines.
The client, as ever, was delighted with the finished product. The hoarding panels are sturdy; able to withstand even the most adverse of English weather conditions—equally importantly, is the quality of the print which is immaculate. A good job all round.
