Internal & External Signage for Parker Hannifin
PROJECT DETAIL
Parker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies. For 100 years the company has engineered the success of its customers in the mobile, industrial and aerospace markets. Parker’s engineering expertise and broad range of core technologies uniquely positions the company to help solve the world’s greatest engineering challenges.
Creative Solutions were commissioned by Parker Hannifin to assist with the design, manufacture and installation of various signage at their facility in Crewkerne, Somerset.
As part of a sitewide rebranding project, Parker Hannifin were seeking to refresh and improve their existing signage to a more contemporary theme. Working in unison with the Creative Solutions graphic design team, new layouts were designed and proposed working within the company guidelines.
Internally, a 3m wide stretch fabric display was printed and installed behind the reception desk as part of the welcome display. Fitted within an existing aluminium framework, the fabric was printed using dye sublimation techniques. It was plugged in with a rubber trim to allow for a future change of design.
Externally, a range of signage was printed and installed on site. The work included post mounted signage, wall mounted signs and a fence mounted sign. The metallic contemporary design was created using Butler Finished Dibond with vinyl, with a 'brush fleck' running left to right in order to match existing signage. The signs were manufactured in-house before being installed on site at Parker Hannifin.
The installation required a risk assessment and method statement for health and safety prior to any work commencing. Constant communication enabled us to work to fast turnaround times, meeting the clients expectations and leading to the award of future work.
