Mortgage Business Expo 2011 held at Old Trafford
After a three-year hiatus, the Mortgage Business Expo (MBE) has returned, and its Manchester event went off without a hitch last month.
The MBE Manchester and London shows are organised by Clarion Events, which was forced to put the event on hold for a couple of years due to the effects of the economic recession. Back for 2011, the Manchester event was held at Old Trafford football ground on May 20th.
A total of 28 exhibitors manned their display stands at Old Trafford, meeting and greeting in excess of 600 visitors. Clarion's newly appointed show director James Prosser believed the Manchester event to have been a success, saying:
"Our primary purpose for running MBE Manchester was to deliver advice, insight and business opportunities for mortgage intermediaries in the North of England and we believe we achieved that,"
"We also welcomed visitors from all regions of the North, including Scotland."
The next event, the Mortgage Business Expo London 2011, is scheduled for 16th and 17th November at the Olympia exhibition centre, but due to the success of the Manchester leg, Prosser is also said to be adding more regional shows to the MBE portfolio.
