New Premises Signage for Lyme's Fish Bar

Lyme's Fish Bar

Lyme's Fish Bar has gone from strength to strength with the Lyme Regis community, now holding three premises across the town! Joining the original beachfront shack, and the main 34 Coombe Street location, the team have now set up shop in the coveted Cobb location, a main foot-traffic area between the Monmouth Carpark, beach, harbour entrance and on the path to the town centre a short distance away.

Serving all your popular fried beachside goodness, Vic and the team have been a staple for over 30 years, and we have had the pleasure of working with them for almost as long on their business signage, pricing boards, branding and displays.

THE BRIEF

New Premises Signage

Set to take over the site where Jane's Cafe use to be next to the The Cobb, Vic got in touch to start the process of designing two fascia panels, one for the main shop, Lyme's Fish Bar, and one for the hut next door that would become Harry's Ice Cream & Coffee to continue the take-away window.

Our client wanted to continue the branding theme from the other two shops into this one with a bold blue fascia signage that would be instantly recognisable. Harry's Ice Cream & Coffee was going to be a brand new venture, so Vic was forthcoming with lots of ideas, inspiration imagery and colours for our in-house graphic designers to build from.

An issue to contend with was the drainage pipes running across the front of the cafe, these would need to be covered by the fascia panel, but easily accessible if the local council needed access to them. A white panelling was agreed to to protect and cover the drainage pipes, and also create a solid surface our installations team could drill into for each of the panels to securely attach.

Vic should be incredibly happy with this premises purchase! A prime time location in the heart of the busiest area in Lyme, The Cobb is a bustling and lively area rich with food, drinks, activities and stunning views across the bay.

With his new signage installed ahead of the Spring Half Term, and Summer fast approaching, the new premises will be bustling before we know it with Lyme locals and holidays makers.

Shop front fascia panels are the most important signage a business can have, and can take many forms to suit your business branding, building and budget. ACM (Aluminium Composite Material) is a lightweight and budget-friendly signage option with incredibly versatile properties lending itself perfectly to long-lasting external signage applications like Fascia and Flat Panel business signage. When vinyl wrapped we offer a great 7-year guarantee on the print as we know that the media we use is of the best quality, and is much more likely to be replaced or re-branded before the ACM wears out.
