Shop Fascia Signage for Milkbere Cottage Holidays, Seaton

Milkbere Cottage Holidays area a local Devon holiday cottage letting agency with an excellent selection of over 70 self-catering holiday properties in and around the stunning Lyme Bay on the Jurassic Coast across East Devon and West Dorset. They provide self-catering holiday cottages in Sidmouth, Beer, Branscombe, Seaton, Axmouth, Lyme Regis, Colyton, Axminster, Honiton and surrounding towns and villages.

When Milkbere Cottage Holidays moved into their new Seaton premises, they knew they had to get their signage and branding spot on. The building they had moved into is widely recognised as a classic part of the town centre, a Victorian styled building that was formerly the HSBC Bank. The brief for the Creative Solutions signage team was to ensure the Milkbere brand fitted within the existing structures whilst retaining a contemporary feel.

After an initial site visit and consultation with staff from Milkbere, it was suggested stand-off letters on the main fascia board would create the right look and feel. The Creative Solutions graphic design team supplied digital visuals using the clients logo and branding, and were able to make edits and adjustments at the clients request. 

The signage work consisted of 5mm TR7 dark blue acrylic letters mounted on to 16mm stand-offs. These were custom routed in-house before being installed on site. The stand-off letter effect creates a contemporary appearance for the signage, enhancing the letters and lifting them slightly off the fascia board.

In addition to this, 450 x 450mm clear acrylic signs were mounted either side of the door, the glass effect panels were direct UV printed on the rear in reverse before being mounted on satin chrome stand-offs.

Internally, window graphics were applied to the doors with the company branding. Privacy film was used with Milkbere logo etched out.

The work was completed on time and on budget with the client very satisfied with the work.
