Clive Hemsley, an experienced canine artist, now residing in beautiful Lyme Regis is moving his studio to the Archway in Axminster! As fellow dog lovers, we were incredibly excited to work with Clive to get his new space decked out with some new business signage.

We're thrilled to announce the opening of Clive Hemsley's new art studio in the heart of Axminster! Known for his captivating dog portraits, Clive has brought his talents from Henley on Thames to our community after a successful career in retirement.
In August 2023, Clive held a special donation drive, offering commissions and donating a portion of the proceeds to the RNLI lifeboat station. This initiative not only demonstrated his generosity but also connected his art with a meaningful cause. Now, with an active studio in Axminster, Clive continues to share his passion for art and community involvement.

A Unique ACM Fascia Panel to Showcase Art
The centerpiece of Clive's studio exterior is a beautifully shaped fascia panel. This eye-catching display not only highlights Clive's exceptional dog portraits but also provides essential contact information. Designed to draw attention, the panel serves as a visual introduction to the quality and style of art available inside.
Manufactured from ACM (Aluminium Composite Material), this signage material is incredibly cost effective, customisable, and lightweight in suspended settings. With a range of lamination options available, we offer a standard 5-7 year external life time expectancy to keep your business looking great for years to come.
Double-Sided Projecting Panel Sign for Maximum Visibility
To ensure Clive's studio is easy to find from both directions on the street, we've installed a double-sided projecting panel sign. This strategically placed sign extends out from the building, capturing the attention of pedestrians and drivers alike. It acts as a beacon, inviting passersby to discover the delightful world of Clive's canine artistry.
Our 3D hanging and projecting signage panels are constructed using ACM as the faces for each side, with the middle made of marine plywood painted to match the signage display. Marine plywood is specifically designed with structural strength for greater impact resistance as well as to absorb the effects of water movement and pressure, marine plywood is manufactured to the very highest standard with both ply faces being A-grade veneer and totally defect-free.
We can also source projecting and hanging sign brackets and mounts, however on this occasion the pre-fitted kit was in good condition and did not require an update.

For those who visit outside of business hours, a small vinyl window sticker provides all the necessary contact details. This simple yet effective addition ensures that potential clients can easily get in touch to schedule appointments or inquire about commissions, even when the studio is closed.
