ACM & Trough Lighting for Axminster Tools

A 100% family-run affair, with over forty years of experience in the sector, Axminster Tools are market leaders in the mail order tools and machinery industry thanks to their unbeatable service to both trade professionals and DIY hobbyists.

THE BRIEF

After years of providing excellent service and high-quality products, Creative Solutions have managed to forge a thriving working relationship with Axminster Tools. In that time, we’ve been at the vanguard of some exciting graphic design briefs and brand makeovers: from fleet vehicle graphics, to retail signage and indoor displays. Axminster can always count on us to deliver!

For this brief, the team would be printing and installing a large aluminium composite sign at one of their numerous retail premises—finished with a Stryder Slimline LED troughlight.

THE SOLUTION

Using the firm’s precise brand guidelines—and the artwork found in the many retail display briefs we’ve completed for Axminster—we supplied the client with a 3mm-thick aluminium composite sign. 

The full-colour self-adhesive print was applied to the 3mm ACM 0.3mm skin board and finished with a high-quality matte laminate for a stunning final aesthetic. Vinyl wrapped ACM boards are simply the best outdoor signage option thanks to their durability, weatherproof qualities and the high-quality, long-lasting print.

Because of the sign’s considerable size, it came in eight sections, each of which was installed using a cherry picker. We were also able to supply three Stryder Slimline LED trough lights, which we powder-coated in RAL 9005 black and mounted with fifteen Stryder troughlight wall brackets—all of which were powder-coated with the identical RAL 9005 black.

Each and every stage of the design, print and installation process was taken care of by the Creative team, so the client could rest easy, knowing the signage would be of the same high standards as previous jobs.
