THE BRIEF
This particular brief was for the Exeter Mobility Centre who were looking for some contemporary indoor signage. We’ve worked on a number of different jobs with the medical facility in the past and were delighted to be asked to create another high-quality graphic design product.
This project involved creating a modern-looking sign that would incorporate photographs of the mobility centre within its lettering. After consulting with the client, it was decided that an excellent option for this kind of indoor display would be stand-off acrylic letters.
Stand-off lettering is a popular indoor sign choice for many clients in the Exeter and Devon area, thanks to its unique visual impact and modern aesthetic.
THE SOLUTION
The client was able to supply us with the artwork, including the various photographs, slogans and NHS branding, which we then adapted to create the final design.
We provided the client with the 10mm TR2 white acrylic ‘EMC’ text, onto which we applied the high-definition, full-colour print. The face was then finished with a stunning matte laminate vinyl. The results speak for themselves. The quality of the sign is superb; the combination of the HD images and the bold coloured text outlines creates a lasting impression.
Along with the signage, we supplied the large snap fix and fixing template, which gives the letters a 25mm stand-off—while the remainder of the artwork, including the NHS and Opcare branding, was applied directly to the wall in the same MD5 Hi-Tac full-colour print and matte laminate finish. The overall size of the signage measured 2200 by 800mm.
After designing, printing and installing the signage, the client couldn’t have been more pleased with the comprehensive service and product we were able to deliver.
Another job well done for the Exeter Mobility Centre!
