FSD Active Ltd was created to introduce innovative active vibration control technology as an effective, convenient and sustainable approach to reducing vibrations in buildings and other structures.

With decades of collective experience in analytics, design, measurement and control under their belts, the team has managed to apply this to some of the most impressive vibration challenges in the UK and around the world.

CALMFLOOR delivers a step-change in the teams ability to deal with vibrations in both existing and new buildings, giving vibration mitigation and sustainability improvements that were previously unattainable.

THE BRIEF

Re-brand Printing

The FSD Ltd team reached out to inquire after the ability to print onto their products metal enclosures ahead of their next large installation project. They had recently gone through the process of re-branding CALMFLOOR, changing every aspect of the logos font, colours and size.

Each CALMFLOOR unit is installed with over a 15 year life span for the end user, so the print quality needed to be incredibly durable, and direct to the surface of the unit to eradicate the fear of future vinyl failure and pealing. To make sure the print quality and colour density was perfect, a test print was organised and the team were invited in to see the results before the main project could get underway. Now that's quality control!

Having visited us at Creative Solutions HQ and speaking in-depth about the project and previous printer errors in replicating the new logo, we set our best minds to work to overcome the issue, roping in everyone from Purchasing, Graphic Design, Print Production & Installation to put their heads together to make sure we could offer the perfect print.

For FSD Ltd, the solid powder coated steel faces needed to be printed in multiple layers to make sure the colour density was consistent and vibrant on each panel. Once the team came in to see the test results, we were able to show them the results of different numbers of printer passes and the opacity each new layer offered to their new logo design.

Once happy, we took delivery of several new panels and set to work creating the high-quality direct to surface prints for our client. We look forward to this continued partnership in the New Year!
