THE BRIEF

Creative Solutions have established a healthy working relationship with Axminster Tools over the years. Recently, we have been able to oversee a number of different rebranding and marketing ventures—including the design and fabrication of new store signage and high-quality vehicle graphics for their company vans.

There is no end to the benefits of this kind of working partnership. For an ever-growing company like Axminster Tools, the whole process is made that more straightforward. They understand that whatever aspect of graphic design they require—from point of sale signage to vehicle graphics—they’ll be receiving the same standard of product each time, from a design studio they know and trust.

For this project, Creative Solutions would be printing and installing Flex Face signage at their  Basingstoke store. 

Flex Face light box signs are a superb choice for those clients looking for high-impact, large signage displays. They are most often found in retail parks and large commercial stores. The most unique and striking aspect of the signs is that they are illuminated with an internal backlight—most commonly LEDs. The results are a contemporary, visually-dynamic signage display.

THE SOLUTION

Creative Solutions carried out a full rebranding of Axminster Tool’s signage system at their Basingstoke store. This included installing a large full-colour printed display on the side of the building, new branded car park signage, and a Flex Face printed and laminated sign for the front of the store—backlit with LED illumination.

We were also able to install new LED lights and drivers to update the original lighting system. 

The full effect of the backlit sign is observed at night; with the lights on and the new signage fully illuminated, a stunning visual display is created. Not only is it a tremendous draw for potential customers, who can see the signage from a great distance, it’s a perfect method of exhibiting the company’s new brand direction. The client was thrilled with the various design products we provided—particularly the illuminated shop signage.
