Shop Signage for Axminster Property, Trinity House

Axminster Property is a trusted property developer operating in Axminster and the surrounding Devon area. They provide their clients with a wide range of properties available for immediate purchase. These properties include residential buildings, office developments and retail spaces.

Their aims are simple: to supply their customers with high-quality buildings, with premium interiors, situated in desirable locations.

THE BRIEF

Long-standing clients Axminster Property contacted Creative Solutions about providing shop signage for their Trinity House retail development in the heart of Axminster. 

This would include stand-off lettering for two businesses that have found homes at the building: The Crafty Hobbit and The Community Waffle House. Stand-off lettering is a popular choice for retailers; its unique visual impact and modern aesthetic creates a distinct, eye-catch display. Combine that with numerous material and lighting options available, and potential customers will be drawn to a store in their socially-distanced droves.

Having closed its doors in November 2019, Trinity House was purchased by Axminster Property in January 2020. The developer’s aim was to revitalize the building and create an exciting new retail hub; one that would encourage businesses to thrive in the area during difficult times. Having already provided identical acrylic signage for Lou La Belle, a fashion boutique also operating from Trinity House, we knew we could supply a similarly high-quality product.

THE SOLUTION

We provided the client with 10mm white acrylic raised lettering for the two shop fascias. The letters were installed on snap fix fittings to create the stand-off effect. This gives the signage added dimension and height, adding to the overall modern aesthetic. We were also able to provide the large capitalized Trinity House sign installed at the top of the building. 

Creative Solutions assisted with the artwork, produced all the signage, and carried out their installations on behalf of the client and their tenants. Because the design and colour scheme of the signage has been kept uniform for each business, the overall visual quality is extremely effective. Axminster Property, and the retailers based at Trinity House, were delighted with their stunning new shop signage.
