THE BRIEF
The client approached Creative Solutions with a three-fold brief.
Firstly, they wanted us to create an electronic version of their company logo, which could be utilized across a wide range of applications and platforms. With this new logo, they also wanted us to manufacture some graphics for one of their company vehicles.
Finally, Safar also required a poster to be designed for their restaurant but had no defined style or approach in mind.
THE SOLUTION
The first item the design team approached was to redraw their logo; this would give us a solid building block from which to tackle the other parts of the brief.
Having created a high-quality, more refined digital version of their existing design, we then used our vehicle template to produce the vehicle branding.
As this was not a commercial vehicle, we decided to go for a middle impact design; the 5-door SUV was dark brown in colour, so it was agreed with the client that a simple white cut vinyl design would be the most impactful and cost-effective. The customer was delighted with this economical method of branding and promoting their business.
Finally, using the content they had provided us, and looking at old flyers, we created a design style for the poster. Ultimately, this would give us a more defined set aesthetic, should they wish to return for more items in the future. This not only makes the production process more straightforward for us; for the client, the turnaround time is that much quicker.
As you can see from the image, the poster incorporates their new logo and includes some sharp, eye-catching fonts on a subtle yellow background. The overall effect is visually pleasing and one the client was very happy with.
