Security and Durability

We understand the importance of security in public installations. Hence, the 1000 Outdoor Notice Board is equipped with a tamper-proof safety lock, supplied with 2 keys. Models with a 1350 mm high side opening door and all models with raising doors come with 2 locks for enhanced security. Additionally, the board features an elastomer seal for optimal waterproofing, ensuring the preservation of displayed content in all weather conditions. The interior of the notice board is finished with a galvanized steel sheet, and lacquered white on the interior back panel, promoting visibility and readability. The exterior back panel is finished in light grey. The frame, made from 75 mm aluminium with right-angle corners, is available in silver anodised aluminium or painted from our range of notice board colours.

Installation and Accessories

Our Quatro post kit includes two oblong posts with an 80 x 125 mm cross-section, available in silver anodised aluminium or with a black lacquered steel top. The kit facilitates adjustable notice board height and is designed for easy assembly with dove-tailed cast aluminium clamps, eliminating the need for drilling. The Ø 76 mm post kit enhances the board's stability and aesthetics. It includes two round Ø 76 mm posts made from silver anodised aluminium or painted with black lacquered steel tops. These are delivered with four dove-tailed cast aluminium clamps, enabling easy and rapid assembly without the need for drilling.

Installation can be performed by concreting directly into the ground or using base plates, as mounting brackets are included. We strongly recommend concreting into the ground in such situations for reinforced durability. The surface of our notice boards features a white lacquered galvanized steel sheet, complementing the robustness of the frame. We also include magnets with each notice board (1 per A4, up to a limit of 20 per display case), facilitating easy attachment and arrangement of notices.

Additional Features and Options

For additional visibility, especially during low-light conditions, we offer an optional LED lighting kit. This kit provides high-efficiency white light with a typical brightness of 120 Lumens per watt. The LED IP20 and transformers IP67 guarantee robustness and longevity with a life expectancy of 75,000 hours and a remarkable energy efficiency of 12.5 watts per linear metre. However, it is important to note that the LED ribbons and transformer are not factory-fitted and require professional installation by a qualified electrician to comply with applicable safety regulations.

Optional Lighting Kit: PLEASE NOTE Lighting Unit will not be supplied attached to the board. To install the kit, the customer is obliged to drill into the notice board to pass the wires, however,  do not do so on top of the notice board. Once the wires are passed, use silicone both inside and out of the hole to make a waterproof seal. Do not put the transformer inside the case, due to heat this may cause condensation. Wiring recommendations (maximum distance per linear metre of LED strip):

• 5 m with 2 x 0.75 mm cable
• 10 m with 2 x 1.5 mm cable
• 15 m with 2 x 2.5 mm cable

Note: our kits consist of one or more LED strips, depending on the size of the notice board, and a transformer.

Our approach is to offer a warranty on this product according to the following conditions:

• Waterproofness of outdoor noticeboards - 5-Year Warranty
• Resistance of recycled plastic - 5-Year Warranty (excluding deformation and discolouration)
• High-density polyethylene - 5-Year Warranty (excluding discolouration)
• Quality of paints/stains on wood components and their resistance to UV - 1-Year Warranty (untreated wood components are not guaranteed)

Outside the areas specified above, the contractual guarantee is limited to one year.

Product Lead Time – Please be advised the lead time detailed above is the current working standard for this product. Your despatch and delivery dates will be detailed in your order confirmation sent via email from our Sales Team once your order has been received. For any product requiring artwork completion, the lead time starts from the next business day after you have approved and signed off your digital artwork proof. If we cannot fulfil your order within the detailed lead time, you will be contacted immediately about your order.
