What can be attached to cable display fittings?

Please be aware that you will need extra cable display components in order to have a fully functioning cable display system. Once you have installed the skeleton of your cable display using these cables, you can begin to add accessories such as poster pockets and vertical grips, to keep your displays in place. The cables are streamlined for discreet hanging so the customer’s attention is not distracted by obtrusive fixings.

Window cable display systems are commonly used in estate agents and hair salons to draw attention to slow moving properties, limited time offers and branded promotional material, but are also suitable for use in museums, showrooms and on exhibition stands. Once the cable display system has been set up, it is very easy to continuously replace your posters with new content.

How do I install the 4m steel cable fittings?

One end of the floor/ceiling to wall cable has a hinged mount fixing, which is the end that fixes to the wall. The other end has to be mounted to either the floor or ceiling. The wall to wall cable has two hinged wall mount fixings that require wall plugs for installation, which are not supplied with this display fitting. The fixings on the floor/ceiling to wall cable makes it ideal for both indoor wall cable displays and outward facing, double sided window displays. The ceiling fixings are designed for standard ceilings and are not recommended for use with suspended ceilings.

An Allen key is provided, which allows you to adjust the tension in the cable once it has been fixed to the wall. If you require a shorter cable, it can be easily cut to size with wire cutters. You will need extra fitting tools including a plumb bob and wall plugs in order to install your display systems.

Floor to ceiling cable display fitting instructions are available so that, if necessary, you can make any adjustments you need to your cable. The ceiling and floor fixings can be screwed directly into your ceiling, or used with our toggle and fixing channel for a movable display.
