Custom Lightbox, ACM & Pavement Signage for Lyme Fish Bar

THE CLIENT

Lyme's Fish Bar is a hugely popular family-run local fish & chip shop found in the Lyme Regis area. The business has been a staple in the world heritage seaside resort for nearly quarter-of-a-century.

Not only do Lyme’s Fish Bar offer their customers a take-away or restaurant menu, they are also fully-equipped to cater for a range of different social events and functions.

THE BRIEF

After a challenging 12 months for the hospitality trade, Lyme’s Fish Bar were one of the many small Dorset-based businesses looking to give their outdoor signage displays a fresh new makeover. This would include a range of printed aluminum signs and menus, a Fish Bar banner with custom lighting, and an Ecoflextra pavement sign. 

As the seaside town steadily returns to its bustling former self during the warmer months, with COVID restrictions beginning to ease, now is a perfect time to invest in new displays or spruce up and add to existing signage systems.

THE SOLUTION

We supplied the client with a new Fish Bar banner complete with a custom-made strip light for a dynamic, illuminated display. The 3mm opal flat panel acrylic sign really stands out on the Lyme beach front—even when the sun goes down! The artwork for the banner was provided by the client.

Meanwhile, the Cobb Gate signs were full-colour printed onto aluminum and finished with a high-quality matte laminate for an eye-catching, professional aesthetic. Next, we delivered the Ecoflextra pavements signs with matte laminate prints on both signs for extra scope and visibility. 

While Creative are delighted to offer the full package when it comes to graphic design projects—from initial concept to final installation—the customer on this occasion requested that they complete the fittings of these signage products after we’d delivered. All except the ACM Kiosks menus, which were installed by the Creative team as usual.
