Perched right alongside the sandy beach near The Cobb in Lyme Regisk, and just a short walk from the town centre, SWIM boasts epic views over the world-famous Jurassic Coastline. SWIM is an incredibly popular eatery, serving food and drinks all day throughout the year.

THE BRIEF

Illuminated Lettering Signage

Stand-off lettering signs, or built-up lettering signs are 3D letters designed to make your business stand out, with the added benefit of being individually internally illuminated for real WOW-factor. Built-up lettering has emerged as a popular choice with many national retailers due to its high-impact contemporary appearance.

SWIM have recently been going through a re-brand, changing out their original green and blue colour scheme for a warm, bright orange colour pallet and retro style font. The older illuminated lettering signage installed above their entrance was now no longer serving them, and needed to be replaced with a fresh and up-to-date creation.

The team were incredibly helpful with being able to provide a full brief for the new project including font, size, colours and the fixing points of the original signage so we could factor this into the new creation. This was then handed over to our internal Graphic Designers to create a visual proof for the illuminated signage we could provide the client before commencing with production.

THE SOLUTION

Illuminated Letters & Logos

One of the most instantly recognisable signage options on the market, 3D illuminated lettering signs are custom-made and bespoke to your business branding and space availability, be that wall mounted, mounted onto a tray sign, or freestanding onto a ledge or overhanging area like here for SWIM. Our face illuminated letters are perfect for business signs both internal or external.

Our 3D illuminated lettering signs are supplied with everything you need, including wiring, fixings, the internal LED lighting system and more. The only thing you will need a qualified electrician to connect the signage to your business power mains.

SWIM opted for a built-up rim & return style, with each letter made from long-lasting powder coated stainless steel in Pantone 2015U, and an opal finish acrylic insert for each letter face. 3000K warm white mini LED's are installed into each letter, completed with a 60W outdoor rated power supply. The fixing points of the new illuminated lettering was made to match the old lettering for ease, with cabling able to enter the building in the same spots, ready for a qualified electrician to complete the installation.
