THE BRIEF
Design and produce new vehicle graphics
We were approached by Bill to design new trailer boards for his truck. He wanted the vinyl colour matching to the red paintwork and vinyl cut out text in a contrasting colour. The main thing Bill wanted was a durable product that’d last. We recommended a few products with a design in mind for the graphics. We’d previously installed some chrome detailing and this was requested again because it works well with the red.
THE SOLUTION
Expert design print and installation
With a clear brief we went away to design the graphics. We sent our designs onto Bill which he approved. Printing began the next day.
A few products were printed: 3mm White I-Bond with Cut-Vinyl Text (size 1330 x 290mm high) and the same vinyl in size 730 x 360mm high. These were printed in the colour M7-143 Cherry Red. The text was printed in MI-BS Chrome Exterior Polish Silver. We also printed text for the phone number using the same MI-BS media.
We printed and plotted everything using our digital equipment at our site in Axminster. The process took us half a day to complete, including proofing.
Installation took us a few hours to complete. The truck was delivered to us and installation carried out by our experienced team. Bill’s delighted with the work and so are we - his truck looks the part and is ready to go. A job well done.
