At Creative Solutions, we recently completed a specialised vinyl wrapping project for a private client, involving a Vaillant aroTHERM Plus 5kW air source heat pump (ASHP). The client’s home setup posed unique design challenges, but with careful planning and custom support structures, we delivered a flawless wrap in Anthracite Matt Metallic Grey—an ideal choice for a contemporary finish.

Choosing Your Wrap Colour

The client began by ordering our colour swatch card, which allowed them to see firsthand the array of finishes we offer. Meeting A Unique Wrapping Challenge

What set this job apart was the specific requirement to wrap the bottom of the ASHP unit. Since the heat pump would be installed at height, the client wanted to ensure that the unit’s underside didn’t stand out. Typically, wrapping the bottom would require tilting the unit, but like many complex appliances, ASHPs must remain upright to prevent internal issues.

To solve this, we developed a unique solution: a temporary scaffold that allowed our installer to work safely underneath the unit while it stayed fully upright. This scaffold was designed specifically for this job, creating stable, close access to the underside without compromising the ASHP’s structure. Our team carefully applied the Anthracite wrap to every visible surface, delivering a seamless result that fully met the client’s aesthetic goals.

After completing the wrap, we meticulously re-packaged the unit in its original box to ensure it arrived in pristine condition for installation at the client’s home. This final step ensured the wrap would look perfect upon arrival, offering a streamlined look without any visible hardware or unfinished surfaces.
