Motorhome Graphics for a Private Client

THE BRIEF

While we’re all hopeful that the summer will bring something of a light at the end of the coronavirus tunnel, and the nation should be able to voyage further afield than their front garden, so the holiday planning starts.

Domestic travel and ‘staycations’ will be the most popular method of getting away from it all in the warmer months; caravaning, motorhome holidays, seaside B&Bs and camping will be on everyone’s minds as the country begins to get back on its feet. 

We were delighted, then, to be contacted by a local client who wanted us to create and install some custom artwork for their campervan. They wanted their vehicle to be primed and ready for action in time for the summer holidays. Their dream was to travel around the country in style with an eye-catching nature-themed printed vinyl wrap which we would apply to the rear of the motorhome.

The advantage of a wrap is the versatility it offers. The aesthetic of your vehicle can be transformed as subtly or extensively as you wish. We can perform a simple colour change—with a matte or gloss finish—or a completely custom design with a full-colour printed vehicle wrap. We can also wrap individual car parts; bonnets, grills, bumpers, or, in this case, the entire rear of the vehicle. 

Everything can be wrapped separately for a one-off, custom look.

Now, with a design settled on for the motorhome, we got to work!

THE SOLUTION

After spending time liaising with the client, determining exactly what image they wanted featuring on their vehicle wrap, we clicked the digital printers into action.

We then provided the client with a full-colour wide-format print onto MD5A vinyl with a matte laminate finish. 

The chosen wildlife graphics, complete with lake, hippos, and tropical birds, look positively stunning. The high-definition photographic quality of the print really leaps from the substrate—and, even with an image of that size, there’s not a hint of resolution loss. 

The client drove away a happy customer and more than ready for his holidays!
