Rebrand and New Signage for Lyme Fish Bar
THE CLIENT
Back in June 2021, we worked with Lyme Fish Bar on their first new signage installation, updating their booth on the beach from its weathered and sun-bleached state to a classic Fish & Chips style kiosk. You can see their old signage installation and lightbox fit here.
A year on, they have come from strength to strength, and it was time to refresh the brand entirely with a new logo, branding colours, and identity. Working closely with our in-house CreativeStudio, Lyme Fish Bar is now proudly displaying its booth in Lyme Regis for all the visitors and holidaymakers in time for the warmer months.
THE BRIEF
As the seaside town of Lyme Regis steadily returns to its bustling former self during the warmer months, and COVID restrictions now eased, it is a perfect time for many businesses to invest in new displays or spruce up and add to existing signage systems to make sure they are noticed this summer season.
A logo is an integral component of your organisation or business. Not only does it introduce your brand but also distinguishes you from others. A recognisable logo is key to building brand awareness, trust and repeat custom. But in traditional creativestudio style, we like to go the extra mile...Firstly we worked with LFB to recreate a new graphic logo. The Lite Package is perfect for those looking to revamp and refresh their logo to match updated branding or start the process to re-envision their business. We sent 3 logo design ideas across to be reviewed and landed on this new bright white and blue logo with a dark blue background.
Once the rebranding had been confirmed, we set to work recreating the large menu panels with updated pricing and layout to fit the side opening panels, as well as the large header board under their previously installed light fitting.
THE SOLUTION
Working with business on this scale is exactly what we wish for. Being able to assist and offer advice for design concepts and ideas, logos that work and branding guidelines is a specialist within our team, and great to exercise with a returning client who values and trusts our input, completely guided by their vision.
Once the logo concept had been agreed upon, the Production Team then print the large ACM (Aluminium Composite Material) fascia boards for the Menus and main fascia board overhead. ACM is a great solution for all signage as it is lightweight, completely customisable, and hardwearing for long-term outdoor usage, and can either be directly printed or have a vinyl overlay to allow for easy future changes. The bottom fascia panel displaying the food and beverage images did exactly this. The old vinyl overlay was removed and the new vinyl was installed on-site by our expert as you can see.
It is always a pleasure to work with Lyme Fish Bar, and we wish them every success for the upcoming Easter and Summer 2022 season!
